👾 81% of mobile apps vulnerable to cyberattacks

With the increasing usage of mobile apps, cybercriminals are constantly developing new ways to exploit app vulnerabilities. The number of cyberattacks rose by 38% in 2022 compared to the previous year, and the number of new mobile malware variants increased by 54% in 2019.

Promon, a technology company that provides application shielding, conducted a recent test on 357 high-earning Android mobile games to manipulate and reverse engineer the apps. Surprisingly, 81% (289) of the apps displayed no defense against these attacks and were unable to detect a compromised device.
