In the past few weeks we've been putting more and more time and effort on stability and transparency improvements.
Making sure you can use our services with no problem is our top priority - that's why we built this platform in the first place after all. So we'll keep working as hard as we can to make it better.
We're talking things like:
- StoreAPI Pulse: we're now proactively tracking both App Store and Google Play APIs to figure out how often and at what time of the day they're publishing new data. With this information we're now able to fetch new data faster than ever.
- Logs and alerts for our BigQuery and Paid Media (Google/Meta Ads) services: we crated an observability layer to track our data download processes. Our goal is to identify potential issues ahead of time so we fix it before you experience a gap on your data.
- Enhanced error messages, and 404 & 500 pages: in the case of a server error or if you click on a broken link you'll now see a nice page with context on the error. This will trigger a message to our team, but you can also send us a message to share additional details.
- Website & Web App status pages and Release Notes: track incidents and our platform's availability in real-time using this link. And follow-up on our Release Notes on this page.
- Adding a “Latest data” column: BigQuery subscribers now have a dedicated column informing the most recent data found on their tables. This will soon be available to all customers on their Data Sources overview pages as well.
We're also working on multiple micro improvements to make our platform even more stable and trustworthy. We'll let you know once there are significant updates to be shared.
