Now on BigQuery: 5 new App Store reports

If you're using BigQuery, we have some great news for you this morning.

You can now find five new tables under your App Store dataset - as long as you added an API Key with Admin permissions (see how in the end of this article):

On those reports you'll find a ton of interesting data points, like Proceeds in USD (Purchases), Impressions, Page Views, Sessions, First-Time Downloads, Redownloads, and so much more. We'll cover all of this in depth in the coming days and weeks, of course.

For now, you can explore these new fields and their definitions on the new "Explore Fields" section in our website.

How to find these on BigQuery

  1. Open your BigQuery console;
  2. On the "Explorer", navigate to your Project and look for anything that starts with "earX_appstore_"

What happens next

  1. Updates to all our App Store templates
  2. New templates for ASO and Subscription-based Apps
  3. Bug fixed and adjustments based on your feedback and suggestions (just ping us on the chat if you have anything you'd like to report)

If you've been using our Chrome Extension

Now that you can get your App Store Analytics data programmatically, we imagine most (if not all) of you will stop using our Chrome Extension soon. We're not in a hurry, but when the time comes, we expect to deprecate it in order to simplify our platform and make it more convenient for everybody. Less software means less complexity and more time to focus on new features (like adding AdMob and Apple Search Ads, improving our UX, etc.). If you're planning to continue using our extension for the long run though, please let us know.

How to upgrade your App Store API Key

We'll be back soon with new templates and other news 👋

ps: we're thrilled to finally be able to automatize 100% the App Store's data as well!
