Starting today, you'll find data from Jan 1, 2024 for all your App Store Analytics tables on BigQuery.
This update covers all tables from App Store Analytics, which includes:
For all these tables you'll now have data from the 1st of January. Nice, eh?
But you might be wondering: "what could I build with it?"
Well, you can easily get year-over-year comparisons for example:
Or group your Downloads per Month, Quarter, or even a full year:
You could always do that (group downloads per month) of course, but now that you have a lot more historical data, adding this visualization now makes even more sense.
Now it's your time to shine and update your dashboards so you can leverage this new data that we added for you.
App Store Analytics unlocks metrics such as Impressions, Product Page Views, First-time Downloads, Redownloads, Sessions, Deletions (Uninstalls), Sales, Revenue in USD, and so much more. And by connecting it you won't need our Chrome Extension any longer to pull those metrics.
Activating it is simple: just upgrade your credentials — aka API Key — to unlock it. Watch this tutorial to learn how.
And yes, App Store Analytics is currently included on all our plans.
As much as we love our Looker Studio connector, the sheer volume of historical App Store Analytics data (20-100x more data) would result in slower loading times and a frustrating experience.
But don't worry - we want to make sure you can access this valuable data too! We're offering a free BigQuery trial to all our Looker Studio users. Our team will help you with the setup process, making the transition as smooth as possible.
Just reach out to us via chat, and we'll get you started right away.
As always, reach out if you'd like to help shape our next updates!
